Briargate has two central boilers, a heat pump,
backup heat pump, booster pump and other equipment
that provide domestic hot water to your unit.
This system is controlled by a central Tekmar
computer unit that controls the boilers and
anticpates demand based on outside temperatures.
Briargate has a combined domestic hot water and
heating system which means the same pipes carry hot
water to your heater and your faucet.
As such, you will notice that the temperature of
the water increases when it is extremely cold
outside.
It is recommeneded that all owners must install temperature limiting
faucets.
